What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide foundational skills to people aged 16 and over who have intentions of entering the workforce for the first time, or moving onto further training. The micro credential will guide and train the learner to be able to: design their career pathway; obtain their birth certificate, IRD number, a bank account and develop a curriculum vitae(CV); identify learning support needs required to progress towards employment (e.g literacy assistance, medical assessment); describe and demonstrate the obligations, requirements, and expectations faced by employees in the workplace; describe workplace health & safety requirements; describe basic employment rights and responsibilities.
