Learners must have access to a temporary traffic management workplace to meet the work-based learning component of this micro-credential.

Pre-enrolment
- Providers must ensure learners/ākonga have access to a workplace that can provide learning support through mentors, verifiers, or supervisors who have expertise working in temporary traffic management.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide a formal credential for people working on the road reserve who need to apply appropriate Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) control measures to manage the associated risk while carrying out a low risk, low impact activity.

It includes skills required to address the safety of relevant stakeholders who engage with TTM controls.

This micro-credential addresses a skill gap in Aotearoa New Zealand. It will align with the TTM Credentials Framework developed by the TTM Industry Steering Group.
