Entry requirements

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level qualification OR equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.

English Language Requirements: English IELTS 6.5 or higher, or an equivalent. Learners must satisfy the requirements in one sitting and have taken the test within two years of commencing study at The Mind Lab. These requirements do not apply to learners who have a qualification obtained from a tertiary education provider from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States and the language of instruction was English.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

To support professionals, organisations, and communities from a range of practices to understand the fundamental principles and technology areas of software development practice and develop the skills necessary to apply this understanding within their own context. Specifically, the programme will provide learners with the knowledge, skills and appropriate frameworks to engage effectively with software professionals and participate in software development processes or other aspects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integration, while taking into account individual and socio-cultural factors that can impact on accessibility and equity.
