What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide whānau, hapū and iwi with intermediate-advanced te reo speakers able to apply tikanga and use te reo Māori to maintain and convey a Māori worldview for everyday situations in the home and community.

Minimum requirements
Graduates of the Poupou Huia te Reo programme at Te Wananga o Raukawa may apply for admission to the Poupou Huia te Reo - Te Hookairangi, PpHTR2. Applicants are to be at least 17 years of age with an interest in te reo Maori, speaking te reo with whanau and friends, and promoting its usage in the home and in related whanau settings. Applicants are to declare their ability and commitment to complete the programme of study. A device and access to the internet is required as the programme is fully online.
