It represents the expected sector baseline qualification for a professional adult and tertiary teaching practitioner.
Graduates of this qualification have the skills and capabilities to provide high quality, contemporary and culturally appropriate teaching and learning in a range of teaching or training contexts.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
NCEA Level 2 (including 10 literacy credits at Level 1, and 10 numeracy credits at Level 1) or equivalent academic achievement. International Students is IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.5 (or equivalent including TOEFL).
