About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the health sector industry and massage therapy profession with people who can provide remedial massage services.
Graduates will be able to work within the Massage New Zealand Scope of Practice defined by Remedial Massage.
Graduates will communicate with and refer to, allied health professionals, wellness and medical professionals for those specialist services.
Graduates will be capable of working independently.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Successful completion of the New Zealand Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage (Level 5) (Ref: 2740) or equivalent. Be 18 years of age or over. Additionally, International Students and those whose first language is not English: Have an English equivalent of academic IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent; or other acceptable evidence of English language proficiency, where applicable, as set out in the NZQA Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules All domestic and international applicants will be interviewed to ensure their suitability for the programme. The NZCM Code of Ethics must be read, considered, agreed to and signed. Prior to confirmation of enrolment applicants are required to undergo Police Vetting
