About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand organisations and communities with graduates who have intermediate level user computing skills, and can be employed in a range of roles, operating effectively with skills that will meet standard professional conventions and be internationally relevant.
This qualification may build on existing skills and can be used to recognise the achievement of relevant knowledge and skills by those already employed.
Graduates of this qualification will have the skills to enable them to proceed to further study and contribute to society by supporting digital proficiency and using their digital capability in a range of community and voluntary areas.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Age 16 years or above at the time of commencing study Level 2 Computer qualification and / or equivalent skills and knowledge (e.g. two years working in the IT industry) NZ Citizen, permanent resident or refugee status Entry to the programme will be in order of receipt of completed enrolments. Applicants should have a desire to pathway onto further study or start a career. All applicants will be required to attend a formal interview with the Course Administrator and/or Tutor. Where there are more applicants than places available, a waiting list will be kept or learners will be referred onto other programme with EmployNZ or any other training provider.
